Surfaces

The surfaces to which you can mount a mast vary. Perhaps the most common is the roof with asphalt shingles. Another section of the roof that is commonly used is the fascia section of the overhang on each end of the gable roof.

Other permitted surfaces:

• Wood exterior walls where you can identify wall studs
• Brick or concrete block exterior walls
• Wooden deck posts that are secured in the ground with concrete

Surfaces/Structures NOT ALLOWED:

• Utility Poles
• Metal roofs
• Spanish tile roofs
• Exterior walls with vinyl/aluminum siding
