17 Feb What You Need to Know
Getting signal from the antenna to the receiver has many of the same considerations as getting water from a spigot to the end of a hose:
- The hose must be of good quality materials to not contaminate the water
- It must be free of damage, hard bends and kinks
- There must be adequate water pressure to send the water down the hose
Satellite signal is not different:
- The quality of the components must be of good quality so as to not affect the signal quality
- The cable and components must be installed in a manner that is free of damage or hard bends/kinks
- The antenna must be peaked properly to send maximum signal from all orbitals to each receiver in a system
